Just a moment ago, my husband and I heard a rather blood-curdling scream coming from our 3 year-old twins' bedroom. They were supposed to be going to sleep. Daddy ran up the stairs and burst into the room in time to hear our son say, "She scratched me!"
My husband looked at our daughter, whose bed is across the room from her brother's, and said, "How did you scratch him from your bed?"
Our daughter didn't skip a beat when she very confusedly said, "I didn't scratch him with my bed."
I love my kids' language skills!
